Covers

I took a long look at the covers of my two zombie books and decided that whilst the first one was okayish the second one was shit, so I've  worked on them this morning both to try and introduce a common theme on the pair so that they will be instantly recognizable to potential buyers of the series.
I took a picture of my poor wife who'd taken nasty fall a few weeks ago and had come up with a beautiful shiner (she put it on her facebook profile for all her friends to admire) and I used that pic to zombiefy her with a logo and a pic below her face depicting the castle that the characters of the first book take refuge in. The same picture was used for the second book, this time a train was put there in place of the castle to depict the journey that the hero of the book takes.
I'm hoping that these new pictures will seem a lot better to potential buyers and will encourage them to purchase the books, hopefully that will be you dear readers of my blog. They are called "The Fall Trilogy" and can be found under my name in the kindle store.
I'm working on my short story collection and so far things are going swimmingly well. The first is completed and now I'm making a start on the second one and I'm hoping that it will be done at the end of next week ready for me to start on the third and the fourth after that. My idea is to take these old tales as I've said before and knock them into publishing shape. I'm aiming at a target of 100,000 words and about ten tales which should provide value for money to those people who love the old Conan stories and seek something similar.
Needless to say I'll be letting all and sundry reading this blog to know when they are for sale and hopefully you will be of the mood to buy a few copies, here's hoping!
