Taking a break from zombies

I've gone some thirty thousand words into the third and last book of my zombie trilogy and whilst it is going great with drama and excitement I decided to put it to one side for a short while.
Y'see, I was hit by a muse whilst writing and thought, what would happen if a serial killer leaves the bodies of his victims by police stations and teases the police as they try and track him down?
I won't give away too much of the plot in case it gets taken by another writer but I can safely say that the ideas in what I have done so far are pretty good. To my mind anyway.
I've done twenty thousand words thus far and from the shape of things its looking to be quite a long haul before I'm finished. I fully intend to do another twenty or so thousand words before calling a halt for a short while so that I can finish off the last of my "The Fall" trilogy. Once that is done I will resume work on this book until its completed, at a guess it won't be until Feb of 2014 before the last word on it is put down.
In the meantime I have reduced the price of my first zombie  book down to $1.00 which will hopefully entice new readers and make them want to buy the rest of my works! I've put it out for free, I've plugged it and whilst I have had a few sales its not enough, I want to have a regular 30-40 sales per week if that can be managed and as of right now one or two books per week isn't cutting it, shamefully.
So dear readers of my blog, would you be so kind as to buy a few of my books? I can head towards Christmas knowing that I can afford the price of a Turkey and pudding!
